Just One Story...

It’s a simple question I’m asked often: “What do you do at Fyndout Free Pregnancy Center?” I suppose I could answer with facts and figures, or I could answer with a mission statement and an overall profile of our services.

Sometimes however, it is best to answer with a story. So, if you are ever wondering what we do—or why we do it—here it is, in one story:

A young woman found out she was unexpectedly pregnant, not knowing where else to turn, she came to Fyndout Free hoping to find resources and help. Her relationship with the father of the baby wasn't a healthy one and she knew she would need to prepare herself to raise this baby. We immediately enrolled her in our parenting class program where she was able to receive confidence in her ability to become the mama her baby would need, as well as receiving material items from Maria's Closet that would help keep costs down once her baby came.

With the support of her family, her local church, and Fyndout Free - she has received the material, emotional, and spiritual support to make a life decision for her precious daughter. She has resolved to wait for a godly man who will love her and her sweet baby girl unconditionally. In the meantime, we are right beside her, offering hope, healing, and help.

Her story may be all we need to know why we exist.

If someone reading this chooses to join our team, it makes more stories like the one above possible. And when you make a financial investment in Fyndout Free Pregnancy Center, we open the door for more who need a new story in their lives.

To those of you reading this who are a part of this ministry, thank you for playing a role in so many stories.

And to those who haven’t yet had a chance to join us financially or as a volunteer, get in touch with me at 907-455-8255 or drop me an email at sarah@carenetfairbanks.com. We would love to have you on our team—there are many new stories ready to be written in 2019.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
